Overview
Central Michigan University (CMU) is a public institution that is located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The university was established in 1892 and has become one of the largest in Michigan with a student body that includes both undergraduate and graduate students. CMU also has satellite sites in 15 states and 10 countries.
Academics
CMU students can choose between eight schools and 27 degree programs. Students can enroll in various bachelor's master's, and doctoral programs. Graduate students can choose from more than 70 programs. CMU's eight academic divisions include the following:

The Center for Professional and Personal Ethics is an institute at CMU that invites speakers to visit the university. The center has created an academic integrity handbook and produces a weekly Internet radio show.

Current research focuses on Alzheimer's disease, parent-child interaction therapy, and forensic interviewing.
