SAT Test Prep

Overview

Scholarship Assessment Test (SAT) is used as a factor that determines an applicant's admission into most institutions of higher learning. SAT is divided into three main portions: writing, critical reading, and mathematics. Each area is further divided into three smaller sections. These nine sections last 20-25 minutes each and are arranged differently on different versions of the test. This means that while you may be working on a critical reading section, the student next to you may be working on a mathematics section. The entire test lasts around five hours, including breaks. College Board and nonprofit membership association provide major programs and services in college admission, assessment, teaching, and learning. The fee for the SAT is $45. The language test along with listening costs around $20. Additional fee is charged for late registration, standby by charges, and extra score reports.

Students can take the advantage of different organization for funding their studies. St. Francis College in New York provides merit-based scholarship to students who have SAT scores ranging from 970 to 1050. They fund the whole of their graduate program and apart from that they also offer grants of $ 3,000 to $ 5,000 as a part of the generous aid packages. Almost all the colleges in the United States provide scholarship for students who have very good scores in the SAT. You should take up the preliminary SAT tests to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
